The Memphis Housing Authority, in partnership with Knight Development and a dedicated team of community partners, proudly presents MH Strategies II, an exciting Redevelopment Assistance Demonstration (RAD) project that reimagines affordable senior living in Memphis, Tennessee.
Currently under development, MH Strategies II will preserve and modernize two well-known communities—Venson Center and Borda Towers—providing 421 newly renovated apartment homes designed with comfort, accessibility, and independence in mind.
This redevelopment project reflects a deep commitment to creating secure, high-quality homes where senior residents can age gracefully within their community. With upgraded interiors, enhanced safety systems, and inviting shared spaces, both Venson Center and Borda Towers are being transformed into modern, energy-efficient residences that encourage connection and well-being.
Venson Center at 439 Beale Street offers welcoming studio and one-bedroom apartments in a central Memphis location known for its historic character and close-knit atmosphere.
Borda Towers at 21 Neely Street provides comfortable high-rise living near neighborhood conveniences and public transportation, ideal for seniors who enjoy independence with support close by.
